Rust

These are a few simple lines on the irony of impossible love. Some might find it depressing or just funny but I seem to find it uplifting. Makes me feel like its ok if things are not meant to be. It might seem like two people are so wrong for each other but actually they're just right. They mix, melt and together, grow into something different. Don't know if I'm making any sense here...

"You so metal and me so water
Washing over you, I now taste metallic
But try as I might to not corrode you
How will you keep the intoxicant from an alcoholic?"

Hahaha...yeah, it does sound funny when I read it now.
